Abstract

The United States is ready for major child welfare reform. Building on more than fifty years of work on reforming the child protection system, this Article proposes that a new approach will better help parents and protect children.

Michael S. Wald, Stanford Law School

Michael S. Wald is the Jackson Eli Reynolds Professor of Law, Emeritus at Stanford Law School. Professor Wald has been a member of the SLS faculty since 1967 and has had a distinguished career as an academic researcher, teacher, and public official.
