Jacob Reed, University of Chicago

Jacob Reed is an organist and PhD student in Music at the University of Chicago. His research focuses on interactions between text and music: current projects explore the rhythmic contributions of lyrics in popular music, writings on song and poetry in Early and Middle Period China, and the aesthetics of jazz literature and criticism.
