Abstract
Anna Arkadievna Iskoz-Dolinina, a prominent Russian and Soviet Arabist, was born into a family of writers and educators. Her father, Arkady Semënovich Iskoz-Dolinin, was a Leningrad State University professor, specializing in Dostoyevsky.
