Format: Footnotes in any format; no reference lists or bibliographies; single-spaced; page numbers in bottom center

Rubric: Papers will be evaluated based on the following five criteria.
- Clarity of stated thesis
- Originality of argument
- Strength of argument (valid conclusion)
- Attention to counterarguments
- Writing style (conciseness, clarity, readability, straightforward style, grammar)
Voices in Bioethics does not accept AI-generated text including text generated by ChatGPT or any other LLM technology. Text attributed to such is not acceptable. Use of ChatGPT for text credited to the author is plagiarism. Essays that are AI generated in part or in full will not be considered for the essay contest.
