Current Issues in Comparative Education (CICE) es una revista internacional en línea y de acceso abierto que vincula diversas opiniones de académicos, profesionales y estudiantes de posgrado.

Fundada en marzo de 1997 por un grupo de estudiantes de doctorado de Teachers College, Columbia University, CICE ha servido como una plataforma para el debate y la discusión sobre asuntos educativos contemporáneos en todo el mundo.

La revista comparte su sede con el programa más antiguo en educación comparada en EE.UU., el Teachers College Comparative and International Education Program, fundado en 1898.

Education, Value-systems and Global (Dis)orders

For the 2026 Special Issue, CICE welcomes submissions that explore how education both responds to and reflects world values, conflicts, crises, and shifts in the global order. While grounded in the field of comparative and international education, we also invite contributions from related disciplines, including sociology, economics, philosophy, history, anthropology, and political science.

We encourage submissions from scholars, researchers, and practitioners interested in the reshaping of the global order and its implications for education and schooling, as well as the value systems they carry into the present and future.

Manuscripts (papers, article responses, essays, and book reviews) in English are accepted.
