Current Issues in Comparative Education (CICE) é uma revista internacional online de acesso aberto que reúne opiniões de acadêmicos, profissionais e estudantes de mestrado e doutorado.

Estabelecida em março de 1997 por um grupo de doutorandos da Teachers College, Universidade de Columbia, a CICE serve como uma plataforma para o debate e discussão de questões educacionais contemporâneas em todo o mundo.

A revista está sediada no programa  mais antigo de educação comparada dos EUA, fundado em 1898.

Education, Value-systems and Global (Dis)orders

For the 2026 Special Issue, CICE welcomes submissions that explore how education both responds to and reflects world values, conflicts, crises, and shifts in the global order. While grounded in the field of comparative and international education, we also invite contributions from related disciplines, including sociology, economics, philosophy, history, anthropology, and political science.

We encourage submissions from scholars, researchers, and practitioners interested in the reshaping of the global order and its implications for education and schooling, as well as the value systems they carry into the present and future.

Manuscripts (papers, article responses, essays, and book reviews) in English are accepted.
